Fundraising in a ballgown

Over the last three years, the fundraising environment has shifted. From large gala balls to virtual fitness challenges and pledges. Over the last few months though, it seems the pendulum has moved a little, still keeping the needed fitness challenges however also making space for the gala celebration.

Last month, with Christina Noble Children's Foundation, we hosted over 270 people who joined together to celebrate the human spirit and raise funds for children and their communities in Mongolia and Vietnam. Together we raised close to $350,000 in net profit - funds that will go directly to projects in both communities and to children who are in need of health, education and housing.

The curation of a gala at this scale is only possible with the help of amazing sponsors, and so, I wanted to personally call out the following incredible organisations.

For all your event styling and production needs, there is only one company to call: Anna Wang Styling. One of two diamonds of the ball.

For additional event touches you should also look no further than Pristine Dance Floors who provided us with the seating signage and also the media wall on the evening.

(That's the Australian board - we are just missing Martin Abert and Sue Rice)

The event itself was hosted at the Ivy Ballroom, where the Merivale team took professional care and excellence in event delivery. The space was stunning and the service exceptional.

Our second diamond of the ball was Real Time Business Solutions. They provided a cash injection to the charity and most importantly the children.

Real time business solutions develop AI powered software solutions for container handling terminals. Australian owned and operated, RBS now trades globally! If you rely on shipping or rail to distribute your products, and need your supply chain operations to give you a competitive advantage, call RBS today!

And wait, there is more.

For your finance and tax management, look no further than Duo Tax and Trover Tax. Together, they took out our community impact sponsorship, a shining example of how you can invest funds for good when you manage your funds strategically!

For those investing in property, you are in safe hands with Finance Hub Networks and Global Re Specialists.

Finance Hub Networks will help you find the best possible mortgage so you can spend more time finding your dream home. Global Re Specialists specialise in Project Marketing, Off Plan Sales, New Homes & Old Home Sales + Property Management. Together Finance Hub Networks and Global Re Specialists also took out our community impact sponsor.

On stage, we announced with Coco & Lucas Founder Diem Fuggersberger, our strategic collaboration and plan to roll out meals promoting Christina Noble Children's Foundation in September. Stay tuned for more on this. If you are looking for healthy and affordable meals, without all the nasties, look no further than the Coco & Lucas range of healthy family meals in your local supermarket. I personally recommend!!

The gala also raised funding through our Auction and Raffle. We would love to thank the following sponsors for their generosity

AHJuoang provided gorgeous South East Asian treats in the way of Pineapple tarts for guests to munch on whilst their purused the brochure of choices.

We had donations and prizes donated to us from:

Poruo Botanic Cosmetics

After an evening of amazing food, and fundraising, it was time to let down our hair to the sweet sounds of Brown Sugar. And let down our hair we did. We danced away the night to a mix of "get out of your seat and start dancing" tunes. Here are just a few of the fun photos from the evening.

Thankyou to all our guests and sponsors and everyone who made this event possible. With you we are changing lives for generations to come.

We so hope you join us again next year.

#that's a wrap
