What makes a great gala ball experience?
It seems audience feedback agree that the top three requirements are:
Great food.
Great Entertainment.
Networking opportunities
In our last post we shared details on food: A bespoke menu curated by celebrated MuMu Chef Oliver Hua. This is not your 'plastic chicken' affair. This is Vietnamese cuisine in all its amazing splendour!
Today we share with you our entertainment plans. Brown Sugar Music will be appearing live at the gala ball. As we celebrate the human spirit, we could not think of a better band than Brown Sugar, Sydney's best and most popular R&B and Soul band. Brown Sugar have held Friday night residency at the Hilton Sydney for over 12 years!
The band is made up of Miguel George & Angel Tupai on vocals, Michael Dolce on Guitar, Johnny Grguric on Bass Guitar, Deni Di Filippo on Drums and Jonathan ‘Jaycee’ Corea on keys and saxophone.
"Angel Tupai starred on X Factor Australia in 2012 where she tore the house down and became known to be one of the best female R&B/Soul singers in the country. She has been described as having a ‘HUGE’ voice by all the judges and an amazing range which needs to be experienced to be believed. Not only has she the ability to mix it up with Beyonce and Whitney, but she can rap as well which makes her of the best all rounded artists out there. Seeing her perform live is truly an amazing experience!"
You can listen to Angel's performance on the Voice here. To experience the band together check out the band's performance of Uptown Funk.
And as your tummy rumbles and feet tap along to the beats of the music, you can head on over to the gala ball web page to book your seat or table today! We cannot wait to see you there.
